genuinely one of the best things an average person can do right now for creators trying to actually divest from X as a business platform is

1. share people's content, not just here but elsewhere
2. most importantly, find some way to support them monetarily if possible. Patr/Substar/kofi etc

As much as folks might not want to believe it, artists who sell their work cannot survive exclusively on platforms that cater to primarily other artists. The Circulating The Same Five Dollars™️ model can't feed us or pay bills for long. We need places where we can be seen and discovered.
