Fascinated by this. As a lot of people in the comments note, AI works well when you don’t need to smooth out the details. It gets tricky when it breaks code or hallucinates.
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

Traveler, a long-running sci-fi TTRPG, is adapting its game to Fifth Edition Dungeons and Dragons. An interesting move, although one that is already getting pushback online.
The best science-fiction role-playing game ever, adapted at last to the world's most popular rules!

Spearheaded by GDW and TSR veteran Timothy Brown, Traveller 5E is coming from World's Largest RPGs, with crowdfunding in March 2026...

@brotherwisegames.bsky.social, the people behind the COSMERE TTRPG, are expected to reveal details about the next 'wave' of entries in the series at Dragonsteel Nexus next weekend. These include the Mistborn version of Cosmere's TTRPG, which will use same rules but new lore for the setting.

1. I see elsewhere on Bluesky that the discourse has turned toward telling writers not to be ashamed to admit they have day jobs or other sources of income (or spousal/family financial support), and you know what, that's 100% correct. Day jobs and support from loved ones are great if you have them!

It takes three to four purchases of a book to trigger a restock at a book store. It takes about two purchases of a game to trigger a restock at a game store.

Don't pirate game PDFs either.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

We know it's been a rough year, and I can't/won't generalize from this, but here's what we saw in our own sales.

This piece is honestly a fair look at a growing trend among TTRPG publishers and crowdfunding. That said, I’m less cynical than Chase. I kinda think we’re too early into this trend to know if it will be too crowded yet.
Themed crowdfunding months provide creative ways to bring together associated tabletop creators and raise consistent money.

But as the trend spreads, the calendar is beginning to feel mighty crowded.
Every day cannot be a holiday
Much to month about.
