Reading a great book on the Vikings.
Then got to a chapter which is heavily about transgenderism. LGBTQI etc, and it just degenerates into a lot of contradictory stuff.
The reality is that we know Viking society punished, extremely, anyone who deviated from social/sexual norms.

Although I love studying the Viking age, I have little sympathy with the maritime militarists that spawned it.
