Over the weekend I picked up a vintage Kodak tripod. I wanted something to pair with my older cameras but the more I play with this thing the more impressed I am with how light and easy to use it is. Kinda feeling like the moderns stuff has lost the plot a bit.

Puzzling

The ferries all have these puzzles. I’m just so puzzled by where they come from?

A passenger on the ferry to Vashon island works on a puzzle mid-crossing. The photographer is baffled how anyone leaves the half finished ferry at the end of the trip.

I haven’t worked for a newspaper in over a decade, and still sometimes I just shoot a little feature set by force of habit. #ektar in my #eos3 which feels sooooo much like my old work camera.

I just feel like I want a prime that is about the perspective of my p17 for my eos3. To me that feels like a normal lens so a 35mm seems about right.

Indeed. Mine are holdovers from my working photog days. Great and versatile for paid gigs but not a lot of fun to use

I just have a 24-70 and 70-200 (cause they do like everything) but wow do I love the way the camera handles with a prime. And 35 is just a little wide without being as nuts as my 20
