I recommend βHow To ADHDβ on YouTube as a free resource often. She provides a lot of valuable information and how to manage some symptoms just as a starter so people with ADHD can learn why they do the things they do. Itβs a struggle but help is out there. CHADD is another great resource, too.

I should also mention finding a therapist that has extensive knowledge about ADHD is important due to the complexity of the disorder is paramount. It took me years to find someone I felt was qualified and understood ADHD. Unfortunately, it can quickly become prohibitively expensive for some.

I would also like to welcome you to the club. We have meetings when we have the motivation to, which is not often. Meds definitely help, but pairing it with regular therapy to help manage the symptoms is major.
