This is why it really matters that Farage is challenged on his racism, and why govt is so irresponsible to have endorsed the ‘legitimate concerns’ lie, instead of roundly rejecting intolerance and insisting on an honest and decent approach to immigration policy.

The Covid enquiry: “Too little, too late. Scientists ignored”.

The Climate crisis: Too little, too late. Scientists being ignored.

Maybe best for all if we simply ignore the self-serving anti-science deniers, most notably Trump, Farage, Tice, Reform U.K. in general, along with the US GOP.

"The reason ordinary families and the gov get poorer year after year is because of this massively increasing inequality"

Hadn't planned a sequel to #BabysBreath, but the right story popped into my head out of nowhere, and I think it's better than the original - longer, deeper, more knotty. Can't wait for you to read it.

If BBC News was a hotbed of left-wing wokery producing *systemically* biased coverage Jeremy Corbyn may well have been elected Prime Minister in 2019.

It’s not. He wasn’t.

And we got Boris Johnson instead.

So, Farage, in the same breath, has stated that:

Minimum wage should be cut for young people (currently at £10 an hour - oh the largesse!)

And

Young people earning over £100k a year should get tax cuts.

That tells you just about everything you need to know about where his priorities lie.
Nigel Farage Says Minimum Wage Should Be Cut for Young People
The Reform leader said cutting the minimum wage for young people would boost business, as he attacked plans to raise taxes on the wealthy

Ah, the problem is housing? Healthcare? Schools?

Immigrants are more likely to work in construction than UK natives. More likely to work in the NHS too. And in education.

Without them, those services would be worse, not better.
