Wanted my 100th half-marathon distance run to be special so I chose to run the scenic loop at Red Rock Canyon which is around 13 miles with a LOT of elevation gain/descent. Also set my HR Zone goal to keep me in Z3 or Z2. In a word this was a tough run (the day before I had ran 10miles). #running

Ya know what might also help? If you guys ever worked a day west of Dean Martin Dr. You know you can write tickets right? Like you know that's part of your job? I swear the only penalty for killing a pedestrian in this town is you have to sit out the first set of downs on Sunday.
Nothing like the adrenaline rush you get from nearly being vehicularly manslaughtered twice in the same intersection in the same week. Vegas crosswalks are deathtraps. @lvmpd.com does not care about pedestrian deaths, they do not enforce traffic violations here. #VegasIsNotForRunners
