Documenting my life with two chronic diseases. I’ve been on Mounjaro since October 2023, and lost 290+ pounds.

What a wild feeling to be regulated hormonally after a lifetime of having a dysregulated endocrine system and dysfunctional metabolism. Words cannot describe the freedom to have access to hormonal therapy that has given me my life back. Will hit goal this year, and hike Whitney soon. #metabolism

What can I eat? I see that question in all the groups. The answer is “anything”. Listen to you body. This med makes that possible.

My personal suggestion to optimize weight loss…
Keep an eye on calories. Not too little (your hair really doesn’t like starvation…tends to fall out) and not too much.⬇️

Eleven months ago, I was already feeling undoubtedly better and back at work. I had already lost close to 100 pounds. I’m now closing in on 300 pounds down, which will be a 50% loss. I’m about 30% away from my goal of 70% total body weight loss.

Since October 2023, I’ve been taking Mounjaro to regulate my body & to stop the progression of my T2D. I don’t have any more inflammation or edema & I don’t go to bed wondering if I’ll wake up. I’ve lost 278 pounds since then, follow for more! #glp1 #ozempic #mounjaro #glp1community #tirzepitide
