Business lawyer. Investor in Bluesky. Pro bono indep academic developing a proposed contemporary “right of the child in the family context”. Fan & student of the “actual text & legal origins” of the US Constitution (by contrast to “[faux] originalism”).
US Rep (WA-8) Kim Schrier, a pediatrician, on the disinformation just posted on the CDC website.
RFK Jr. just changed the CDC website with his fictional anti-vax talking points — promoting the blatantly false claim that vaccines cause autism.

This is dangerous.

Parents, please trust your pediatricians, not RFK Jr., about getting your children vaccinated.

#LarrySummers making his mentee "needy" to coerce her for sex is part of a gen'l problem of women not getting equal footing in #economics. Often relegated to "care economy" issues, they cannot call out obvious fallacies in things like Gary Becker's "New Home Economics" w/o risking their careers.

W/ #BariWeiss apparently firing #JohnDickerson at #CBS, just wanted to mention this excellent report he recently did. #ACA contains medical fictions in preventive care (still not corrected). It thus too long for many men to realize ACA mental & emotional health benefits. (More below)

Not unlike how we need to co-create (not be passive) If we use AI, in the most successful #parentalleave, parents are co-creating their parental leave with the parental leave of the other parent of their child and with both their employers and managers. www.fastcompany.com/91412778/wha...

I actually would not consider #JaneGoodall a “difficult woman”, but as a difficult woman myself I guess I’m not allowed to judge. Her sense of humor was first class. And she made the difficult seem possible, a real and rare skill?

Lots of talk today about the demise of BlueSky. For whatever it's worth, it's been a boon to indie publishers like us. Twitter and Facebook have pretty much silenced us, so the engagement here has, and continues to be, wonderful.
