We are living in a chaotic political time. It will not be calm soon. To allies who want an inclusive, just America: We need you in the months to come, not just now. Be confident in what you know. Remember to take care of your mental health. Take a day off. Breathe. Stretch. Think. Rebuild. Return.
Good for Governor Healey. That's she's now advocating "single stair" means she's listening to the housing activists. No - we don't need to study this. But at least this is finally underway. #mapoli www.bostonglobe.com/2026/02/12/b...
Maura Healey unveiled her latest plan to tackle Massachusetts’ housing crisis: Fewer staircases - The Boston Globe
Fire codes have long required two staircases in mid-rise apartment buildings. But advocates worry that drives up construction costs. So the state will study doing away with one.

I can't think of an attorney general ever showing this much open contempt for Congress before.

Not only would most of them think this kind of conduct was beneath them, they'd have known that the Judiciary Committee chair, whatever the party, would never stand for clownish antics like this.
Bondi is now just straight up ignoring questions from Democratic members

Of course Mayor Wu is for this. Rent control is extremely popular. It would be wholeheartedly supported by any group of average voters that were asked to weigh in. #bospoli #mapoli

Maybe the WashPo didn't understand Bad Bunny because they fired everyone who covered race in America
Analysis: Weeks before he set foot on the stage, Bad Bunny’s halftime performance had already become a media event.

But if you were looking for political commentary, the closest that you got was when he said “God bless America” in English.
Analysis | Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was expected to provoke. Did it?
The Bad Bunny Super Bowl show nodded to injustices in Puerto Rico but mostly evoked wholesome family values that meshed with the more sentimental commercials.

Wow. Just wow. To all of the Americans in Puerto Rico, and immigrants from Central and South America here who finally felt seen by the whole country - what an overdue moment of joy in recognition. Maybe music *can* change the world.
BREAKING: Bad Bunny smashes MAGA haters with a record-breaking 133.5 million estimated viewers for his halftime show, making it the most-watched Super Bowl performance in history. Bad Bunny’s decision to perform solely in Spanish and proudly represent his Puerto Rican heritage. Take that Trump! 🏈🥳🥳🥳

Gov. Healey's popularity is at a very good 62% approval. Further reinforcing that in a blue wave year, the idea that the most anti-Trump state in America will for the first time in state history, replace an incumbent governor - with an unknown Trump supporter? - is a sign of mental illness. #mapoli

NEW: A baby held in immigration detention became so sick, she had to be rushed to a hospital in severe respiratory distress.

“She was at the brink of dying,” a lawyer told me.

But the girl didn’t go home after her 10-day hospital stay; instead, ICE put her and her mother back in lock up at Dilley.

NBC editing out the booing of JD Vance is a disgrace. It’s an international event. Americans have the right to know what the world is saying. NBC has bowed down to Trump.

My take from in the room. VP Vance was heckled by the crowd when he appeared on screen. But I want to point out that the same crowd was loud and supportive when Team USA came out. It was lovely to hear. And quite a juxtaposition.
