yeah the more i see about ai scraping stuff the more i just... don't want to contribute anything under any kind of free license. what's the point of adding to a wikipedia article or an open source software project when your shit is just going to get turned into slop eventually

This is an excellent analogy, because my recollection from grade school is that the pen on the right looks fun and exciting, and then you play with it for a few minutes and realize it's not actually useful for anything and in fact makes some tasks more cumbersome, and never think about it again.
yeah, just out of interest, how many people choose the pen on the right for real work or art? See a lot of them in professional workplaces, do you?

In 'Brown/Trans/Les', I will explore the construction of a third-world feminist ethos in the face of colonial and local epistemicide.

I am so furious at YouTube for doing this. You have literal gambling ads plastered across your website. The video you take action on contains no real gambling, and is promoting an LGBTQ+ children's charity fundraiser. Absolutely horrendous image and optics for the website. Completely moronic
I am beyond upset, YouTube has age restricted my video tonight for thinking it depicts real actual gambling. The video is on CloeverPit and contains no real gambling, but does contain a massive charity push for The Trevor Project. Last time this happened I almost quit YouTube

In living memory the NHS tortured, at minimum, hundreds of LGBTQ+ people with electric shocks and chemical emetics. Mostly young people, including children. And nobody involved so much as lost their job over it.

one of the main reasons trans healthcare moved away from strict gatekeeping and toward informed consent & GAC is that trans ppl who were denied the means to transition would simply seek it out elsewhere
What did you think would happen when you restricted access to care?

Most people know not to ask chatGPT for medical advice.

Make sure "most" is "all" in your circles, reach out to your friends and talk to them if they're being sucked in, community answers questions better than any chatbot.
