The calls from America this weekend to "abolish the EU" are for one simple reason: the EU is the only thing that can keep European nation-states from becoming Russian or American vassals.
The US has declared rhetorical war on the EU
The calls from America this weekend to destroy the EU are revealing. They hate the union because it's the only thing that can keep European countries from being Russian or American vassals.

Trump’s Justice Department is hellbent on accessing our private voter information—Social Security numbers, party affiliation, driver's licenses—resulting in what experts warn would be a gold mine for hackers.
Trump’s DOJ is building a voter purge machine—powered by your private data
The federal agency ordinarily would prevent attacks on voting rights. Now it’s carrying them out.

Think about this for a minute: an Arizona Democrat Representative is not sworn into office for 50 days, and then, when going with her staff to see what Trump’s Gestapo was doing in her district, and identifying herself as a member of Congress, is still attacked, shoved, and pepper-sprayed.

A big reason we're fighting an uphill battle has to do with the prevalence of Fox.
My daughter switched to streaming. She said Roku and other streaming services all a free version of Fox, but for every other cable news stations there was a charge. This is why they have more viewers.

The fact that four hostile drones tried to hit Zelenskyy’s plane & it’s barely a blip in the news cycle should terrify everyone. We’ve been dragged so deep into the chaos era that an attempted strike on a world leader doesn’t even break through. When this becomes normal, the world is in real danger.

After a disastrous Midwestern outbreak early this year, we tested that theory and found that where the wind blew, the virus followed.

Vaccines could help, but the USDA hasn’t approved them.

Senate Democrats were promised a vote on extending the Affordable Care Act’s enhanced subsidies. But the problems brought on by procrastinating on this health care debate are already starting to take hold. A fix? Not likely.
Those Obamacare Subsidies Aren’t Going to Extend Themselves
Unfortunately, lawmakers probably won’t end up extending them, either.
