I'm rewatching S3 E19 of The West Wing where the real people who served there (Carter, Ford, Clinton, and a bunch of aides) tell their stories. To hear them talk about guardrails, how the best leaders listen to other people but take the blame, the majesty of the WH, etc., is fucking heartbreaking.
