Contractually obliged plug for @creatinglightly.art's free Affinity Designer tutorial, which is what I am using to learn this stuff. Perfectly do-able with just a mouse and keyboard, so you can doodle cars too if you like! Wouldn't have known where to start without it 😍

Text of my reply to a 'collab' 'offer': I don't think you watch my channel because you would have noticed I despise AI and talk about how all the 'tools' people are selling are useless and designed to only steal your data. But also I don't think you are the world's first Thinking Space. It seems you have made a collab word document with extra steps. Which Microsoft has done about 22 years ago. They have also shoved AI into theirs, decreasing its value as a product. Because AI tools are garbage. For $15,000 I will do a dedicated video where I make fun of this product for 40 minutes. Those usually get about 300k views. It will not be an advertisement, I will tell everyone not to use it, I will not link the product. You must pay in advance. Thanks so much! Hope to hear from you!

Also, needs saying again that @mrjalco.bsky.social's work on the covers for Fermi's Wake has been unbelievably beautiful. Not only has he created some awe inspiring exploding planets, he's also redrawn the Fermi from scratch making her look even more foreboding-yet-shonky than before.
