Maidens of the Spear

Chiad and Bain from the Wheel of Time (Amazon series). These were a 2-month, 2-person effort to bring to life. Erin handled all fabric parts, I made all leathers and weapons (with 3d print help). I couldn't be more proud 🧡

I am about 50 pages into this Horseclans novel. I think (only THINK, mind) I can see how it might make for an interesting GURPS/ TTRPG setting. I don’t think I will be reading many more of the actual novels, unfortunately.

To be honest, I saw that there’s a book in the series titled “Woman of the Horseclans” & I am here for the idea of post-apocalyptic new dark age horse-riding, bow-wielding Amazonians. (You know? Like “Classical” Amazonians?)

And today’s quite-by-chance-discovery is the bookazine, The Classic Adventurer. One for fans of “Twisty Little Passages,” and 8-bit & 16-bit text adventures AKA “interactive fiction.”
