The damage caused by Trump’s Administration will probably not be repaired in my lifetime. Some of the damage, like children dying from preventable diseases cannot ever be undone.
The Trump administration has tapped a former Louisiana health official who ordered a stop to promotions of mass vaccination events last winter to be the CDC's new principal deputy director.

The draft dodging idiot posted a pic of this West Point plaque. It contains these words:

“Our American Code of Military Obedience requires that, should orders and the law ever conflict, our officers must obey the law.”

That is precisely what Senator Mark Kelly told officers to do. #NoSedition

It is incomprehensible that the US Administration is attempting to make condemnation of Fascism unacceptable.
I certainly fear Fascism far more than I fear Socialism.

Disrespecting Trump since 2017.
When my father died, I received this flag from the VA to honor his WWII service. As my Navy retirement approached, this flag flew over the USS Constitution on 19 January 2017. The date was carefully chosen.

My family's patriotic roots are deep. Grandfather, on the left, served during WWI. My father, on the right, served during WWII. That's me in the center.

This is my maternal grandfather. He served in the US mounted artillery during WWI. For the rest of his life, grandfather referred to big, dumb men as "number 6 on the gun team."

Listen, Trump. Your continued threats will not intimidate me or keep me from doing my job, which includes oversight of the executive branch.

Stop the threats of execution, hanging, and sending a mob before someone gets hurt.

America deserves better.
New threats from Trump:

The president just endorsed a post reading, "Go get all those traitorous sons of bitches for sedition at the very least. Those pompous traitorous communists should be impeached and prosecuted."

Trump is now amplifying posts calling Members of Congress “traitors,” “communists,” and “domestic terrorists.” His amplification of “get all those traitorous sons of bitches” is an escalation that increases the real-world risk to the people he is targeting. This is how political violence is primed.

Trump shared a QAnon slogan—“the military is the only way”—and imagery calling for “military tribunals.” Combined with calling for the execution of Members of Congress, this is an extraordinary authoritarian escalation and a grave threat to constitutional rule.
