As we age, our bodies go through numerous changes, both physically and mentally. One aspect that often gets overlooked is the decrease in testosterone levels in men, starting from around the age of 30. Testosterone levels can fall by about 1% per year from the age of 30 to 40.

This is a wonderful poem by Jasmine Kaur. She writes with amazing power. Given what has happened in the US election, more people should read her words. 'Scream, so that one day, a hundred years from now, another sister will not have to dry her tears wondering where in history she lost her voice'.

A high school junior (16) shared her experience of how girls and boys at her school reacted to the US election. I was moved and unsettled by this beautifully-written piece, including by the line “the kind of man my mother instructs me to cross the street to avoid will be addressed as Mr President”.

This is an excellent read. The US election affects the whole world, but there is little we can do about what happens over the next 4 years. It's out of our control. What we can control is how we think & react. Overwhelm occurs when our stress bucket is too full. Take time to relax & switch off.
