hello! Here’s a reluctant intro:
I’m a TV/media lawyer - a law & pop culture academic, psychology nerd, and published satirical writer. Currently procrastinating on a dark horror-comedy script.

As someone with a psych background, I find it fascinating that algorithms think women need constant doses of pop psychology. Emotional language is now a marketing tool for manufacturing fear and self-doubt. No, I need coffee and competent digital regulation. Preferably in that order.

I can see the intent but banning social media for kids is not really the answer now is it?
Never mind cinemas, this quest should be undertaken on my sofa: extended editions, snacks, no bra, probably no pants, extreme comfort, emotional availability and zero respect for runtimes.

I went to my local Dogs Trust Christmas Fair this morning. Safe to say these two old dudes absolutely won my heart (I mean all of them did). Not quite pup adoption ready yet but I’ll definitely be back here when I am.

Clearly I’m not American but my tummy is jealous of the Thanksgiving food that is smattering across many of my feeds. My entire soul (if I had one) desires creamed potato’s and brisket.

Friday’s team meeting have a strong bias towards a dog friendly office policy and I can honestly say it’s the most enjoyable meeting I’ve had in a long time.
I do miss my little corgi pal - even though she gave me more judgemental looks than is strictly necessary

My cousin has literally rerouted their Tokyo day today to swing by Ryōgoku to hunt for sumo merch purely to cheer me up. That’s peak cousin loyalty. The Yokozuna of cousins.
