The ever-correct @jamellebouie.net argues that Kennedy is a eugenicist: those who are "fit" deserve healthcare.

I would add, and I think he'd agree, they measure "fitness" by things like lack of melanin and the presence of large quantities of money and/or political influence.

Meanwhile the White House just illegally laid off dozens of CDC researchers and scientists during the shutdown.
Tweet by Dan Pfeiffer: “Anti-vax in the streets, pro-vax in the sheets.”
Below is Kaitlan Collins’ tweet showing a photo of a White House medical memorandum dated October 10, 2025, stating that President Donald Trump received his flu shot and COVID booster at Walter Reed.

I had a dream this morning that we were at a friend’s house for Thanksgiving dinner and people kept arriving with Christmas presents. Now I know why.

#cdnmedia at it again.
Notice when there is a headline with "met with mixed reactions", the "mixed reaction" exclusively comes from either the IDU/CPC or one of their supporting groups. In this case it's the CTF. #CDNMEDIAFAILED #CDNPOLI
Automatic tax filing announcement met with mixed reactions
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation says the Canada Revenue Agency acting as both the tax collector and tax filer is a serious conflict of interest.

That “line” has been in use since PM Trudeau announced that the government purchased the pipeline. Words to the effect that all proceeds earned from the pipeline would be put towards green energy projects.

Big jobs print up north.
(Bloomberg) -- The Canadian economy added more jobs than expected but the unemployment rate held steady as more people entered the workforce.
Employment rose by 60,400 positions in September, driven by increases in full-time work.
The jobless rate was unchanged at 7.1%, Statistics Canada data showed Friday. The job gains surpassed even the most optimistic projection in a Bloomberg survey of economists -- the median forecast was for 5,000 jobs to be created.
Gains were led by public employment. The manufacturing sector added 27,800 employees, and agriculture, health care and other services all added workers. The employment rate -- the proportion of the working-age population that's employed -- rose 0.1 percentage points to 60.6% in September.

“Perhaps it is more illuminating to ask: is Alberta an actual province, or just a company town? The oil patch has intruded so far into Albertan institutions it is difficult to discern where private interests end, and public government begins.”

"Who should we call to represent Conservatives in a committee on National Security?"
"Well, that calls for an experienced statesman; somebody who would never invent evidence to smear a reporter and settle an old grudge."
"How about Chris 'Lock Her Up' Alexander?"
"Or we could get him, yeah good."
Headline: "'Lock her up' chant is srtike three for Tory Hopeful Chris Alexander: Hebert" from Toronto Star, Dec. 6, 2016.

On Thursday, the #ForeverCanadian Unity Bus will be stopping by Red Deer, Innisfail, Sylvan Lake, Rimbey and Rocky Mountain House.

I am looking forward to helping our volunteers collect petition signatures.

The bill has been introduced and there's a division call at first reading

This is unusual. Most bills get a cursory pass through to second reading

We're going to have a standing vote with each MLA's vote recorded #bcpoli

The One BC caucus also plans to introduce a private members' bill titled, "Protecting Minors from Gender Transition Act"

With the new procedures for PMBs, this bill could see debate. However, there are about a dozen PMBs ahead of it in the queue, so to speak, and only 5 weeks of debate this session

There are 3 major reasons why the cull must proceed:
1. Economic security: upholding trade agreements for our $2B poultry export market
2. Health security: preventing avian flu spread to other farms
3. Government sovereignty security: uphold the rule of law & democracy

T. Joseph Mattingly estimates that the 2025 measles outbreak in Texas will cost $90M. Measles is expensive. It's also preventable. Vaccination increases productivity & reduces costs.

Vaccination is healthy for people & the economy.

I miss the old Chris Alexander, the pre-smearing innocent journalists with neither reason nor consequence Chris Alexander, back when he was merely a font of inanely cruel xenophobia and Skeletorian dinkishness.

This new guy is the pits.
A comparison of Chris Alexander and Skeletor. Mr. Alexander's comment was "Simply arriving on our shores and claiming hardships isn't good enough. This isn't a self-selection bonanza, or a social program buffet" (2014).
