ah, i'm so happy to see positive feedback about the loc of karous on steam...! it's kind of rare for reviews to comment on translation quality. i know arcade game fans don't usually focus that much on story/text, but i wanted to do what i could to make it as good as possible

This older 4.15 billion point run of Karous from GOTYO on youtube doesn't use the bullet converter item (i.e., it is theoretically feasible to follow this strategy in the new port). The annotations in Japanese describe the player's strategies in detail

whenever I think of people who act like all shmups past a certain point are just Cave and Cave-wannabe bullet hells I really just wanna throw the Milestone/RS34 catalogue at them because nobody is moving like they do
still not sure of the strategy I should be employing in Karous just yet (in terms of which weapons to level up) but I can say this: this is an impossibly cool shoot-em-up in ways few devs could dream to match
