What Cory Booker did mattered. It captured an enormous amount of attention on SM platforms, as well as MSM. It stirred the moral imagination of the nation by holding a mirror to the constitution. It not only called on Americans to act individually, but also admitted accountability. Well done.

Everybody talks about how R&B singers need to get back in the church, but the truth is they aren’t singing like that in a lot of churches anymore either. What we’re experiencing now is the consequence of decades of focusing on rhythm while neglecting the blues. You need both.
