I remember someone once scolding me that advocating for cats to be indoor-only is “classist” because not everyone can afford toys to keep them entertained inside. I was like madam their favorite things are sticks, crinkly paper, and cardboard boxes. Literal garbage.

ASP always crowed about how she was going to end the show with three very specific words. She did, so Rory never really stood a chance as written. She could have taken a different tack with her but wanted the whole Lorelai 2.0 arc and stuck to it.

Head's up non-sports fans— there's another big baseball game happening. Seattle Mariners versus Toronto Blue Jays. For the new couplefew hours people may be yelling on here in excitement or dismay. Possibly shouting about Big Dumpers and Matilda the Cat. Or buttplug t-shirts, you never know.

Much like video games and movies length is not a proxy for quality and many times a book that can be read in a couple of hours is what is needed. Creating a good series of these is better than a bunch of thick tomes.

Especially as she totally called Rory out for sleeping with Dean. Where was that energy here? I know it's a tv show but ASP had a very warped view of mother-daughter relationships.

Exactly. But I do think part of Rory's problem was believing too heavily in her own press: Stars Hollow thought she walked on water so she thought she could, too. She was never good at taking accountability for her actions bc of that. Lorelai did a bit of damage but Rory is also to blame.
