had a dream last night about a journalist interviewing politicians, replying to each waffling, mealy-mouthed answer (or flat out lie) from their subjects with an increasingly adamant WRONG ANSWER, then pulling out notecards and asking pointed follow-up questions. pols looked TERRIFIED. it was GREAT!

spent my writing time this morning reading over a short thing i started a couple weeks back, made a few changes, had a few ideas. then kept reading and remembered the ORIGINAL idea i was going for, had the expected OH RIGHT moment, then went back and undid all the changes. so that was productive lol

the situation is now so dire even the more chill secondary cat is getting pushy about the ongoing lack of evening treats

he got impatient with me skeeting about him instead of giving him treats and is ready to fight me i think

grey tabby all up in my business to the point the flash went off in his face six inches away and gave him squinty face. it just makes him look as judgmental as he’s been behaving

Schedule Cat has become even more insistent and irritated with me for falling behind in dispensing nightly treats. he doesn't understand clocks, sadly, so the end of dst has him convinced i am a complete failure of cat parenthood.

walked around the neighborhood with the kiddo tonight (kid is 25, we were just out for fun, not candy lol). passed a house playing The Killing Moon. kid shouted to the guy ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN. NICE. and i think the guy was caught off guard that some youth recognized the Old People Music lol
