The thing about tanking anxiety in XIV is that the game has simplified tanking to a degree where most tanks are actually just going "im da king of da highway" through the whole dungeon without pressing buttons, and you likely won't realize it unless you've played for like 7,000 hours. All these items mostly exist to give the scene an even balance tbh. I love finding random tables with stuff on it already and sitting among the various items, It's become my new test of angles and perspective, which quickly becomes 'how much crap can fit in this scene' if i start adding props, expect more to come in the future ^^

It's been a while since my last post! Gods know I've been busy as all hell, a healthy mix of emotional assbeatings and manic updrafts sending my head to the clouds. I've been pushing the Sanguine lore rework to a written format outside of the typical 1-1 RP because honestly I REALLY struggle with it, my brain just can't improv in one direction, and I have a lot more fun sitting in my lil corner drawing maps and writing in little stories into the poorly mapped corners of Eorzea. My poor friends have heard me go on and on about it, but if I could get my brain to Do The Thing I'll hopefully have at least a rough draft worth putting up on a carrd or something to give a bit more context on where I've been, Hope to see you in the Eversiege soon~

In the meantime, I miss all y'all, really was hoping to get more social before things all collapsed in the past month over game/mare drama, I'm as tired as the next gal, but it'll take a lot more than one missing horse for me to fall off my chariot! More is on the way, please look forward to it ♥

Sanguine stands poised; looking forward with a wide-barreled shotgun slung over her shoulder. She is wearing a black lace dress that opens at the chest but comes up closed towards her neck, thigh high boots, high black sleeves, and dark tactical combat gear. Her hair is blowing in the wind. Behind her are the remnants of crystallized aether glowing orange against the faded purple sky.

This one has some lacings in recent new lore, but was mostly an excuse to post the baddie with a blaster looking ready to take on a fight. The recent inspo for posing lately has been just going through the different duties solo until a spot stands out to me, this was actually taken in the main story duty Castrum Meridianum, in the section after you exit the chute. it's one of the few orange-y spots in the map and my visuals work best with that kind of lighting, so I played with it a little and this was the result! It's not my WILDEST work, but I like to make outfits for the occasion and this one turned out lovely~

Sanguine sits turned away from the camera on a rock, wearing nothing but a flower crown, light blue beaded jewelry dangling from her shoulders (akin to waves breaking upon hitting a shore), and light jewelry and gold markings on her hands and ankles. She is overlooking a beached pirate ship on a rock, framed in the same angle that she is leaning in.

This one was fun, turned out beautiful, I think I just ripped a basegame midlander /sit pose and edited it slightly based on a few references i had of people-facing-the-other-way (aka back muscle studies that i am totally normal about), and I'm proud of it.

It also holds a bit of meaning that future me wants to remember, hence it's posted today. Current me? Not doing so hot. The ship must not love its anchor, so to speak, but I just hope I can sail freely now. My heart hurts deeper than it has in a long time right now, but I will heal.

Sanguine leans against a railing support looking away from the camera while the sun shines a strong beam across the frame, crossing her body diagonally. She is wearing a red bikini with lots of extra wraps and strings, with flowers in her hair (and one in her eye to block the sun, which looks a little strange at this angle, its the edenmete visor trust me, there was a concept with this glam, i think..)

This one was a bit of a challenge purely because I had the spot picked but could NOT figure out what to pose there. I've been trying to make a better use of the environment around me in pics, which has been a huge challenge in some places (looking at you, Ultima Thule..) and a huge benefit in others. This spot was in Dock Poga, in one of the many balconies that show up once you finish the questline, which i find super lovely! but it's a little hard to capture and I wanted something to cling onto the last setting warmth of summertime before my canadian 6month winter hibernation, so you get a late bikini pic.

For the few that read this whole thing; I cannot express enough how much I appreciate the friends I make here and the folk who make the efforts to check in on me in my hard times. I've been going through a lot of unexpected self-discovery lately, but it's been productive. I'm doing well, more pics coming, pls look forward to it ^^

This one was a pure moment of 'wow she looks good today, lets take a pic', and thus a little corner of Rhalgar's Reach became my rather simple backdrop, it was entirely the backlighting i was going for here while still letting the ambient light reflect her gold trims, and the halo effect it gave her head and hair was very pretty ^^

I offer little in the way of Alt Text Diary Entries besides I'm doing.. surprisingly well, actually. I've had a whirlwind few weeks, but things are kinda working out? There's too much context even the remaining 1000 characters couldn't cover, but we're still out here, wearing badass armour n holdin' swords, that's gotta count for something!

Okay hear me tf OUT, this one was the result of like.. 2-3 hours(?) of post-processing editing, and I am SO proud of how it came out. I found some free pic assets for flame, smoke, blood, shadows, and a bunch of other things that I've been slowly adding to my pics, but this is a first attempt at proper mixed media + my own editing. Pose was just the MCH overheat shot, lighting/flame/smoke etc was all post and likely very overthought out/not entirely accurate, but it looks hella rad and was fun to do, so expect more to come!~

No AI was used! if i ever touch AI pls kill me, my friends can attest to my posing struggles, they saw me sitting in Baelsar's Wall for an hour, I did my time in photoshop here!

apologies for the long delay in posts, Oct has been a very busy month, but I'm surviving! I miss you all and will be back into the swing of things soon ♥
