I also feel bad because I don't want to share my world and ocs anymore, I want a break from it all, but it feels wrong to use this account for fanart or whatever I'm still interested to share online.

Taking a break from everything...

Hollow Knight feels like the right thing in the right time. I'm glad I found the courage to play it myself. It's a wonderful feeling to have the will and to see the progress. To accept and move forward. It's beautiful, moving and relatable.

More sketches, just for the story. Sometimes I feel like with each iteration I move further away from what drawing a living being even means, turning into an obsessive engineer. I'm somewhat prone to falling into this (silhouette! shape! structure!), but I think I need to rethink my approach... :')

I often feel "too weird" because I'm not interested in art professionaly, in likes/followers, wide audience and recognition, and not even in silly jokes and fun for the sake of fun. I create only for personal aspect of it, and share for expression and connection, and... I feel like an alien.

[Decision of the Storykeeper]

Old Vewis facing a choice - to share his story, or to let it dissapear in oblivion. The story which he kept in secret for years, now being the only one left to know and remember...

Digital illustration of a white fantasy feline named Vewis, sitting near the obelisk, being old and faced with the choice of whether to share his and Atram's (his soulmate, the black feline) story or not. The Koties (these felines) share their thoughts through the Towers (obelisks), which serve as their mental libraries, storing the memories of many. Sensing their death, they have a choice: to share their full story and soul with the world, or to fade into oblivion. The Towers can be seen as a form of eternal life after death, and each of them decides whether to enter it or disappear forever, leaving only fragments of their thoughts, once imprinted in the Tower's network or shared by other's impressions. Vewis always had troubles with the Towers, with many overwhelming voices that scare him too much to speak, and I think the very idea of having his imprint in it terrifies him. And now, it is time for Vewis to finally decide whether he wants to tell his full story or let it dissapear with him. He is alone for a long time, Atram is no longer here to support him, to help him see the pros and cons, to suggest something. Now, it is entirely Vewis' decision, and he does not know what to do. Decision-making has never been his strong side; he is used to trust his feelings and is unable to make a choice when they are so conflicting.
