This guy was more badass than Radiance. But everything is possible with perseverance and will.
I really enjoyed him (both his forms), his design and music are so cool.

It's also nice to know I'm not that bad at playing it as I expected. Even with a keyboard and no platformer experience except the weird Rain World. A strange mix of being a killing machine with a touch of understanding and melancholy.

Taking a break from everything...
Hollow Knight feels like the right thing in the right time. I'm glad I found the courage to play it myself. It's a wonderful feeling to have the will and to see the progress. To accept and move forward. It's beautiful, moving and relatable.

Fun detail - in further iterations with more simplification and stylization I always end up with the shape which was... Kotie's oldest stylization :'D the circle is complete. I spent years learning realism and anatomy, but the weird triangle cat with a long face still lives in their core.

More sketches, just for the story. Sometimes I feel like with each iteration I move further away from what drawing a living being even means, turning into an obsessive engineer. I'm somewhat prone to falling into this (silhouette! shape! structure!), but I think I need to rethink my approach... :')
