Just wanna say sorry again I haven’t been able to make new art lately. I’ve been in the purgatory of the randomized Disability re-eval and waiting to hear back on whether they think I’m still “disabled enough”(gags) for measly scraps for ages now; it’s hell and it’s sapped all my sanity/motivation 😭

Google has started automatically opting you in to let it read your stuff to train AI. You need to turn this off in SEVERAL places in your settings (not just for Gmail), if you want to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

I really think we need to teach ourselves and other artists - beginner or otherwise how to love ourselves and our own work. If you see issues with your work - it doesn't mean it's bad, it means you see the places you can improve. Your mind is growing and you are seeing the places you can do that

the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now
