Disabled. Veteran. Those periods are important. Husband, father, friend. I live vicariously through my comics.
Elfquest is easily my favorite comic ever.

This is my first foray into the @elfquest.bsky.social saga, which I've heard nothing but praise over, and I finally got the chance to start with these colorized hardcovers.

Wow! Wow, wow, WOW! This was absolutely amazing to read.

The artwork and writing are top-notch; every...

THE PERIL OF THE BRUTAL DARK: AN EZRA CAIN MYSTERY is like coming home for me. Both @thatjacobphillips.bsky.social and I love working on the book, so we hope y'all dig it as much as we like making it!

Liam is incredible, and his personality matches his talent.
Liam Sharp shared this on Facebook and I had to put this up here. Mother of God, this is fantastic. It was an absolute joy to start my day seeing this. #comicsky

Last night, I experienced Karmen. And what an unexpectedly wonderful book it was. Written and drawn by Guillem March, the story hooked me almost immediately, and I couldn't put it down. The art by is just as good. I wish this was a beautiful deluxe hardcover, yet I will treasure this trade paperback

And that part of you is what I love and appreciate.
Stories are stories. But there is *something* , some part of us, that we put into them.

Folding the laundry and the inside of my wife's jeans pockets say "you are gorgeous" and "you are glamorous" among other things. I wish more women got these messages and believed them.

TODAY is the final day to pre-order issue thirty-one of GREEN ARROW! Please ask your local comic shop to put an order in for you!!
GREEN ARROW issue thirty-one - our final issue - is on FOC this Monday. I put a lot of myself into this standalone one-shot story, so I hope people will pick it up. Covers by the great @muaadib.bsky.social & @skyepatridge.bsky.social. It's been an absolute honor to write this book. 💚💚

Top Shelf Friday time!

What's a comic in your collection that you think deserves to be on that top shelf? Whether it's a key, rare, or just one you love ❤️

My collection's been weeded down to pretty much only what I want. So, I shook my CLZ. My copy is signed by Norm Breyfogle.

I just read the omnibus. I'm sad it didn't go further than it did.
New back issue read! Jonah Hex vol 2 issue 1 by Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti & Luke Ross, wanted to give this a try for a while now and it was a pretty good debut issue with some great art #JonahHex

I first came to know Louis Small, Jr., when he was working on Vampirella for Harris Comics. He was never a fast enough penciler to stay on a book, but I couldn't ask for a better friend. He gifted my wife and I this portrait for our wedding. RIP, Sir. I'll miss you.

Had to spotlight this one: Thor on a Fantastic Four sketch cover by Eric Canete. The linework is stellar - this sketch goes hard.
