Horror Tales vol. 9 no. 3 (Aug 1978). Cover Art by Luke. The weird world of Myron Fass’s Eerie Publications, lurid covers with a mixed bag of interior art and stories, some new, some refurbished pre-code reprints. There’s decent art and half-ass art, but all enthusiastically gory.
A hideously deformed monster carries a lifeless woman while a group of torch bearing men follow behind.

HORROR HOTEL
Original 1962 one-sheet poster.
I’ve been wanting one of this for some time now and finally got one just in time for Halloween! 🎃
Look at that genuinely creepy artwork from one of the best to ever do it: JACK DAVIS! 😍
Original poster showing the heads of several undead (zombies?) staring down at the viewer - it’s legit creepy!

I've got a lot of Silver Age Marvel and DC comics listed in my little store on eBay. If you like old comic books......
Front cover of Batman 192 "The Crystal Ball that Betrayed Batman!"

Yeah, I found some of the lettering to be pretty distracting.

Every comic cover since has been trying and failing to reach the heights glimpsed by this Carmine Infantino cover for Flash #133 in 1962. You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like
Flash being turned into a puppet while thinking "I've got the strangest feeling I'm being turned into a PUPPET!". FUN FACT: it is impossible to see this cover and not want to see more

Yeah the full treasury sized facsimile is in shops this week. I know what you mean about Sparling, but at least in this book, his work looks pretty good.
