Klinker is a squarish, modular sans typeface designed by Paula Mastrangelo, inspired by the handsome tile lettering found on the facade of a former butcher shop at Obrechtstraat 177 in The Hague. #brutalism #interwarmodernism #dutchtype #brutalypes #destijl >> www.brutaltypes.com/fonts/klinker

Organizers have reported 7 million attendees at the No Kings events and we’re happy to confirm 7 million and counting! More events are still happening across the country today, so we’ll need additional time to fully certify the final numbers.
Some of my favorite signs from the No Kings march, more in comments. Seattle showed up today!

Another chrome logo!

This one appeared on the cover of a soundtrack album by 'The Now Sound Orchestra' and also included music from Star Wars, Close Encounters and 2001: A Space Odyssey in a 'contemporary' style. [🧵]

I was inspired to draw frogs this week. I love that an inflatable frog has become the new protest symbol for resistance against government overreach. Big props to Portland, OR for fighting absurdity with absurdity. Should I make some stickers out of this design? #protestfrog #frogsagainstfascism
Working on some grainy bicycle themed collage art this eve, "Wheels Well Wheeled".

It was a beautiful Sunday in Portland. Farmer’s markets, the Portland Marathon, peaceful protests, and some views of Mt. Hood. This city is vibrant, peaceful, and resilient. We do not need a federal occupation, and we sure as hell don’t want one.
