Truth be told, I am a glass of wine in and forgot to look up what my #wildflowerhour flowers are. But there is a cheeky grapevine which escaped into the wild. And I like the heart-shaped mushroom because we all need some love.

My friend Sascha is a professional musician and he's lost a viola bow on the way to Heathrow. Please signal boost to help him get it back.
Lost viola bow on the way from Honor Oak Station to Heathrow Terminal 2. The bow slid from its bow case somewhere along the way, possibly on the train. TFL contacted already.
It weighs 68.2 grams and has got a stamped DODD next to the frog. If any info on this, please pm me.

Money Box is looking for people who set up pensions for their children or grandchildren this week. Have you invested for anyone under 18? Would you be willing to share your story? Email [email protected] – and thanks! Shares gratefully received - it’s a niche request!

To distract from "everything" here's an update from our local garden centre which s doing a Halloween/Christmas crossover.
A photo of some toy gnomes with Santa costumes, pumpkins and an artificial light-up Christmas tree hung with cloth pumpkins.Bit OTT for me.

Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.

After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls I’ve ever had, asking “So when are you coming to pick up your owl?” 🧵

Within the first year of my daughter’s life, the Lionesses have won the Euros and the Red Roses have won the World Cup in front of sell-out crowds and huge tv audiences and it’s so wonderful to know she will grow up thinking that of course women play sport and of course everybody watches it

I know we live in a world filled with terrible people doing awful things but I still the worst are Americans shouting "get in the hole" at the Ryder Cup.
