I don’t *want* the U.S. to lose the Cup or the Olympics, and it will certainly hurt local economies (stores, restaurants, hotels) more than it hurts Trump. That said, I support the moral stand and I’m going to be watching on TV regardless of where the games are played—here or somewhere else!

Being “Without a press corps” is a feature, not a bug, for these guys.
I’m glad there’s been some good pushback (even from NewsMax?!?) but in any other administration* this would be a massive scandal.
*something I keep saying, at this point, not sure why I bother.

Sadly, it’s a far more common line of thinking than you’d imagine. “The natives already were at war; they kept slaves…” etc, and then go on to justify everything that followed 1492.

Literally nothing coming from the Pentagon, DHS, or DOJ should be considered credible unless backed up by an independent source outside of government. (This, for the record, is a huge problem!)
