These are my recommendations for anyone who wants to make a plan to resist a Trump Dictatorship:

- First: Do a little light reading. Pick up 'On Tyranny' by @timothysnyder.bsky.social. The Twenty Points Snyder outlines are your starting point. The plan is what you create using it.

What a POS
This is the type of person Trump pardoned. He proudly asserts that they should have injured a US Capitol Police Officer worse than they did on January 6th (@sergeantaqgo.bsky.social) had to medically retire).

But MAGA supports law enforcement? Seriously? Then show me by condemning this guy.

Absurd and outrageous map would lead to a 7-1 GOP margin in a state that is often split about 60-40 GOP by creating an absurd district 5 that spans about two thirds of the way across the state, 200 miles from West to East

Oppose this.

This is an unconstitutional and authoritarian power grab.

The constitution grants power over federal elections to the states and Congress - not the president.
President Trump said late Saturday that he would issue an executive order to require voter identification for all U.S. elections, a continuation of his efforts to overhaul the nation’s election laws, which he has long attacked and falsely blamed for his 2020 election loss.
Trump Says He Will Sign Executive Order Mandating Voter I.D.
He also wants to restrict mail-in voting and allow only paper ballots. The Constitution doesn’t give the president explicit authority over election law.

Just remember; the last God-made-man didn't have a great time down here.

Keep a low profile, and stay away from loaves and fishes.

The Trump plan for Gaza includes the relocation of the entire population - 2 million people - a US “trusteeship” and the creation of a tourism and tech hub.

Landowners get digital tokens worth $5,000 and rent subsidies. Investors are promised 4x return on $100 billion.
Gaza postwar plan envisions ‘voluntary’ relocation of entire population
President Donald Trump and international partners are discussing plans to build a “Riviera of the Middle East” on the rubble of Gaza. One would establish U.S. control and pay Palestinians to leave.

This is a great time to remind everyone that EOs aren’t laws, the federal government doesn’t manage voting in this way, and it’s all a scare tactic and any reporting that doesn’t provide that context is enabling potentially lawless activity.
Trump declares intention to issue an Executive Order mandating Voter ID for all votes, restricts mail-in voting to exceptions, and insists on paper ballots only.
His Mea Culpa:

"It’s all about the famous hat, of course. Yes, I took it. Yes, I did it quickly. But as I’ve always said, life is first come, first served,” he claimed."

If you have any business dealings with this slime ball, keep this in mind. HE comes first; HE gets served first.

Authors: If you found out that your publisher(s) failed to register with the U.S. Copyright Office, we can help. We provide ongoing legal assistance to our members and advocate for their work, particularly in the face of ongoing AI-related theft.
I am lightly horrified by how many people have now looked up their books and found out their publishers (who often were required contractually!!!!) just... didn't register the copyrights on books. Not all of them! Just sporadically!

This is not just one publisher, I've seen all the big ones now.
Today is the day authors are learning how many of their publishers straight up blew off registering copyright and I feel like that deserves a class action suit of its own if it costs everyone their settlement money from the Anthropic suit... 😒🤬

Saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Rossiter, who told the stories of the many forgotten and underappreciated women of science.

Like many women of her generation, she survived academia by developing a tough exterior, but her support for jr women, myself included, was unwavering.

RIP, Margaret.

Most people dream of him in an early grave. I'd prefer to see him hale and hearty, and enjoying the inside a prison cell after being removed from office.
