did the new K-ball regulations make longer field goals easier in 2025? yes
but Brandon Aubrey went 10-for-10 on 50-yarders in 2023 and hit a 65-yarder in 2024. he was already going GOAT before they changed the balls and he'll keep shining if/when they change them back

In every other sport things were basically modernized by the time my fandoms came online, so olds tell me they watched Cazzie in Yost Field House, Gordie in the Olympia, or the Lions at Tiger Stadium, my reference point is watching the '88 Playoff run with this setup.

In fairness to MSU fans the roads are REALLY bad in the Detroit burbs. It's not just snow, but the kind that freezes on pavement. 696 was all ice on my way home from Ann Arbor, and that was about the time people would have gone done there. Unless they live downtown nobody should be at this game.

You can find plenty of fault with Goff but first you have to tell me the first names of Kennedy, Firkster, and Dwelley without looking them up.

Everyone said it was wrong when Toys R Us owners cashed out with a leveraged buyout to private equity that brought in Dave Brandon to bankrupt the company with executive fees so their creditors could empty out the pension fund, but look: Geoffrey's doing great.

I know people want Michigan to schedule tougher nonconference games but I'm trying to get my football work done the week of The Game so I can spend time with my family on Thanksgiving so a blowout over some overmatched WCC team was just the thing tonight.
