One of my fav NYC discoveries is this band from Long Island that released an album I loved in 1995 then broke up plays a show or 2 in the city every year because they still have a loyal following, and they’re basically big Gen X parties. So that’s what I’m doing tonight. youtu.be/S4OpZ-lL2Ws?...

I watched Uncle Buck this afternoon and, maybe it’s because I’m old now, but John Hughes’s adult-centered movies have held up so much better than his Brat Pack movies. Also, John Candy was a treasure.
