We’re for sure a feisty people who are quick to protest / show up. Might even break a window! But we didn’t riot that hard or that frequently if we’re being honest. I can think of one other in 2016 but so many right wing agitators were present when The Pearl got smashed up it’s hard to call.

The whole “don’t take the bait” line has annoyed me for a while and today I realized why:

It implies that Portlanders are quick to riot. What it doesn’t acknowledge is that there was only one riot started by a mob of people in 2020 and the rest were either lies or incitement from PPB / the Feds.
