There's a post over on Twitter that I've been laughing to myself about. Some right-wing guy is celebrating that a school took down "All-Gender" bathroom signs and replaced them with "Single Occupancy Restroom" signs. And like... it's the same thing, man. You're celebrating a pointless relabeling.

Remembering the mini subplot in right wing media during the Biden admin about how the left wanted to take away beef for no reason whatsoever

#BREAKING: Over dissents from the three democratic appointees, #SCOTUS puts Texas's new House maps back into effect for (and, presumably, through) the 2026 midterms.

The three Democratic appointees, in an opinion by Justice Kagan, dissent.

I'll post the ruling shortly.

American fascism is hilarious; it’s politics as aesthetics, but the aesthetics are ass.
Sean Duffy on slashing fuel economy standards: "This rule will actually allow you to bring back the 1970s station wagon. Maybe a little wood paneling on the side. We can bring back choice to consumers."

Expecting things to just get worse for Trump unless people magically change their mind about the economy. He just loves doing dumb little side projects but you can't get away with that stuff when your economic approval is in the dumpster

I don't think this strategy of constantly getting famous people to denounce your videos is paying off in the publicity game
Pop star Sabrina Carpenter slams the White House for using “Juno” in an ICE arrest video:

“This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”

No rallies or contact with supporters

Mark Kelly: "This president, when he says things like 'third world countries,' what is he really saying? I think what he's saying is he doesn't want brown people in our country. And that's disturbing. It's un-American."

Trying to create a path to end other presidents pardons sounds like a bad idea for the guy who pardons all his friends
so none of what he’s saying is real btw

Trump going after monuments has like a weird level of salience you wouldn't immediately expect so consider if he does this to be another ballroom fiasco
Trump’s next target for destruction is the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. I can only imagine what sort of white trash gold coated monstrosity Trump will replace the Reflecting Pool with. #ProudBlue

No bailouts. The US should extort these companies when the crash happens so they get minimal compensation in return for nationalizing the entire panopticon industry and then destroying it once harvested for socially useful parts. It won’t happen but it should
