How long before Trump appears on American money or it is discussed at least.

Pinning this for the future.
The United States is becoming both Germany in the 1930's and France in the later part of the 18th century at the same time.

History just repeats itself again and again...

Trump is at the Halloween party at MAL

“Official theme is Gatsby and ‘a little party never killed nobody’, we’re told.”

Reluctant to give Question Time any time - save for this:
Man with stubble, "Small boats arrivals are 37,000. There are over 4 million kids in child poverty. And 4.5 million who can't get a dentist appointment" #BBCQT

"We spend 90% of the media discourse on the 37,000. How much more could we achieve if we put that effort into the 4.5 million?"
The Rachel Reeves story is going to be an example about how corrupt the media was in the 2020's.

A scandal was announced, the whole media jumped on it, turned out not be a scandal at all and how the media reacted to it.

I am saying this before the papers and broadcaster actually react...

Poor Kemi.
New - Harvey & Wheeler, the estate agents used by Rachel Reeves to rent out her property have apologised for an "oversight" after they did not apply for a licence on her behalf, having offered to do so.

Desperate from the Tories. The letting agent has literally coughed to the mistake after Reeves was assured they were taking care of it. Conservatives just look daft here.
Well, the Tories aren't giving up.

Obviously trusting an estate agent to do *anything* is a serious lapse of judgement. But on the whole, this makes Badenoch calling for Reeves to resign look even sillier.

Having argued that Angela Rayner had to go when it became clear that she had not sought proper advice over her housing arrangements, I can't help thinking that entrusting the renting of your house in a specific area to people who routinely rent out houses in the specific area is pretty blameless.

In the all-conquering media/politics ecosystem that brought you Brexit, Boris Johnson, austerity, Liz Truss & the recent revival of weapons grade racism, she really is the Newcomer of the Year. Hands down. And the Spectator is now owned by a man who basked in the ugliest depths of far right Twitter.
Lam took a bunch of X posts from far-right racists and so-called "thinktanks" and turned them into a policy that collapsed as soon as anyone actually read it/understood it.

Would have been an absolute travesty if she hadn't won!
Congratulations! Well deserved 👏
The Celebrity Traitors this evening was amazing.

From the challenge to the roundtable.

Cannot believe there is only two episodes left!
IF Labour do raise taxes it will be treated like a bag of sick in the media but we ALL know we need to raise income as the Tories effectively ruined the economy and Labour's plans so far have fallen short.

I guarantee, like many, will not be massively impacted but we will be told we will be...
A little bit of good news.

Hope we get more information soon.
BBC: "Doctor Who will be back on our screens at Christmas 2026 with a special episode written by Russell T Davies."

Disney+ have confirmed they will not partner on the next season, but BBC says they remain fully committed and will announce plans in due course.

If people like @itvpeston.bsky.social are unsure whether Sarah Pochin's statement was racist, they should try saying exactly the same thing to their employer and see how it goes.

Sultana’s position on Ukraine is not just morally reprehensible but juvenile and trite
There is always money for war, never for the poor.

Every penny spent on bombs, tanks and missiles is stolen from our homes, schools and hospitals.

We are not going to take it anymore.
Your Party member wants the UK to stop helping Ukraine who are fighting on behalf of all of Europe because Putin is dictator trying to bring back an old dead empire.

Imagine being so far left you go towards far right politics. My theory that the old political line is now a circle is holding up.

Big news as a Celtic fan this morning, Rodgers quit and the temporary manager is... Martin O'Neil.

Whilst Martin is a legend at Parkhead and got us to Porto in 2003 I suspect we won't reach that level this season, mainly cause he built a squad over a number of years.

Interesting times.

Straight to ‘let’s have a debate about whether racism is racism’ for *almost* all of the UK media. Nothing learned from the lessons of Brexit, Trump & Johnson. But on we go.
Off the top of my head, there have been four egregious examples of weapons grade public racism in the last couple of weeks - Jenrick; the Express hack; Captain Concrete & the Reform woman. The way they are treated by employers, punters & wider media, will directly influence how much more we see.

Waking up, again, to the sound of two white men on the radio arguing about whether it is ok to be made "mad" by the very sight of black and Asian people on TV. 😒

it's real, it's really real, debating overt racism, a complete disgrace
Is the Reform MP who says she’s driven mad by TV adverts full of Black & Asian people a racist or realist? How many migrants would the Tories expel? & should the UK be selling fighter jets to Türkiye?

The New York Post is owned by Lachlan Murdoch, solely because his daddy bought it and passed it on to him.

And it's backing Andrew Cuomo, a meathead whose whole career in politics stems from his daddy being good at it.

But *Mamdani* is the nepo baby, because his mom was a filmmaker? Sure.
Interesting cover from NY Post
