I wouldn't expect it to be possible to talk to an NPC on the cloud platform without the cloud flower. But it's already so hard to jump off the cloud from the sling star that it's too difficult to test RTA. But if I see it being done, even if via Tool Assist, I'd be more willing to grind for it.

Are there any Super Mario Galaxy experts that follow me? I've had multiple people tell me that they've been able to talk to the Hungry Luma in Fluffy Bluff Galaxy without using the cloud flower over the years but no video proof was ever provided. Anyone good with TAS tools that could give it a go?

I learned the hard way that a remix of Megalovania from a Mario 64 mod does not negate the wrath of Materia Music lol.

I'm not especially fussed since it's just a livestream but damn I feel for Undertale creators having to deal with this lol
