Starbucks can end this today: bargain in good faith, resolve unfair labor practices, and stop the union-busting.

Until then, workers are holding the line! #NoCoffeeNoContract

At least 30 individual or corporations who have given over $116M to Trump and his super PAC have received regulatory favors from the Trump White House.

That includes Big Tobacco companies, Pharma giants, and crypto moguls like the Winklevoss twins.

Pay-to-play corruption.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.

Amazon just announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year.

UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year.

Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

My hope is that this will provide opportunities for discovery of Mike Johnson’s professional and personal communications.
NEWS: Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes and Rep.-Elect Adelita Grijalva have SUED the U.S. House of Representatives in federal court in Washington, D.C. over Speaker Mike Johnson’s refusal to swear in Grijalva.

Grijalva would be the 218th vote for the Epstein Files discharge petition.

Stephen Miller just said the quiet part out loud claiming that Trump has plenary authority when it comes to deploying troops. (Plenary means full authority.) After making the statement, he froze completely, like a deer in headlights. The video is worth watching.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. But, how’s the redistricting going?
🔊TURN DOWN THE VOLUME

Californians don't want to hear commercials at a volume any louder than what they were previously enjoying their program at.

I just signed legislation enforcing this regulation across streaming platforms.

This is a great development for Iowa.
NEWS: Iowa U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), who recently told her constituents "we're all going to die" anyway when asked why she supported Medicaid cuts, does not plan on seeking reelection in 2026. (CBS News)

Instead of writing about Democrats who have arrest warrants because they refused to take part in rigging an election, the media should be writing about Texas trying to rig an election.

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

Drop Paramount Plus (And Hulu/Disney while you’re at it) and pick up PBS Passport. Well worth it. My wife and I have been enjoying The Great American Recipe, a show that highlights how multiculturalism is what truly makes America great.

We are losing the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which has helped educate, inform, and entertain millions of Americans.

Instead, we’re getting a vulgar new gold ballroom, which none of us will ever see.

Also, I think this needs to be framed a different way: A narcissistic boss is firing a subordinate for a problem he’s responsible for.
BREAKING: His Magasty doesn’t like the new job numbers, so he just fired the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, ensuring future job numbers WILL be fake.

Think about what the GOP is revealing with their attempt to suddenly change the Congressional maps: they know their agenda is so unpopular that they're going to lose unless something changes.

Of course, what they should be changing is their policies, not the maps.

Speaking of not working, Mike Johnson just shut down the House for 2 months to block the release of names of pedophiles, but taxpayers are still paying his salary ($224K/yr), 73% of all his & his family’s healthcare expenses, $79/day food stipend, & up to $34K per yr for things like travel & housing
Johnson: "The Urban League that came out with their study that said 100k+ people are gonna lose Medicaid bc of the work requirements? That means they're choosing to not work... if somebody drops out of the program bc they're unwilling to do that, they did not deserve to be on that program."
