Looks like my decision to sleep all night (not sure how I accomplished this tbh) was a good one. It's 08:01AM and the workmen are doing something involving vibrations and pneumatics. Probably bolting things down if I had to guess.

All these year-end recap things for services where you wouldn't even think to look for them mostly seem to be trying to make end-runs to get people to enable data collection features. To wit, here's my Playstation Wrap-Up, or rather the total absence of it. Discord was similar.

It's only after a night's sleep that it occurred to me: the general manager can't leave until all the workmen have fucked off for the day. So if there are further problems but workmen are still around then in theory I should be able to find someone in a position of relative power over the building.
Somehow managed to find the general manager still here despite it being 20:45 or so. Told her about the situation and explained: I can do 12 straight hours of loud construction bullshit and horrible solvent/glue smells or I can do all night beeping. I cannot do both. No way.

Realized that I have an opportunity to do a little snooping so I rolled into the apartment next door. That thing is a long, long way from being done. Real long way. There is, in fact, no cabinetry, nor any plumbing fixtures. They've only just put down laminate flooring and maybe painted the walls.

I attempted to play the game using a custom party. I did manage to make a custom party, and it was mostly good. Mostly. I managed to wrangle the character creator correctly for a change (it has some unintuitive qualities) but I did not manage to create an _effective_ party. So that's a bummer :X
Apropos of naught save that I have signed up to do it I reckon I should do at least one DOSember stream and so I shall! For DOSember I shall be playing nothing but Darklands (1992) (DOS) and to the effect I shall go live with it on Twitch in about 5 minutes or less.
