Zohran Mamdani caught lying that he understood Plato’s allegory of the cave, yet when asked to explain it, he seemed to instead explain Baudrillard’s theory of Simulacra and Simulation where reality has been replaced by symbols and signs, which seems similar to Plato’s theory but is not the same

Wrote earlier today about how badly Dave Roberts’ infatuation with Blake Treinen hurt the Dodgers this season. On top of blowing so many games trying to “get Treinen right,” it took valuable reps away from young relievers with little experience who they now need:

You guys will remember all September when Dave Roberts was "trying to get" Treinen and Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates
"right," I was screaming that he was doing that at the expense of getting guys like Will Klein and Edgardo Henriquez and Roki Sasaki and Emmet
Sheehan experience out of the bullpen in leverage spots. Well, Treinen was the only Dodger reliever who stunk yesterday!
The other eight guys went 11 innings without giving up a run!
