I just came back from Colorado where we biked to a highway rest stop on our scenic ride through a canyon. The women's bathroom was flooded from a clogged drain, the toilets were unflushed and filled to capacity and the entire room stank. I appreciate good infrastructure, something MN does well.

Aaaand @mndot.mn.gov is now tearing out a key bridge along I-94. It's not unsafe, but with this investment there will be less reason to actually "Rethink" I-94 to the west. So much inefficiency (or motonormative strategy?) it boggles the mind.

Called, spoke to a human in Otsego, registered my comment that it's very upsetting as a patriotic American senior citizen, daughter of a WWII vet, great-great granddaughter of a Civil War (1st MN at Gettysburg) vet and Minnesotan to be called "anti-American" by Tom Emmer.

Today US Rep Tom Emmer called anyone who is going to protest on October 18 anti-American. This is a great day to call Tom Emmer‘s phone lines with some patriotic messages. Tom Emmer is the house, majority whip, a second place finisher. He has done nothing for Minnesota, but collect a huge salary.
