i still can't get over how amazingly great this is. An *early music* cover of one of the oddest songs from one of the oddest musicals to ever exist. It works amazingly well with this treatment. This guy is straight-up brilliant. I'm a bit of an early-music freak, so i'm biased, but still!

The post-WW2 Labour government was perhaps the greatest peacetime government in the history of this country. It rebuilt the nation, built vast numbers of homes and created the NHS.
