I’m no big fan of Starmer but that seems a stretch. He’s on record saying he would “never leave” the ECHR. I know his word isn’t good for much but that is _since_ becoming PM.

This is gross. The government wants access to all the data on your phone and even forbids Apple from warning its users about it. They can’t be allowed to push this through in secret.

The brief summary of the “coppers storming Nicola Sturgeon’s house” stuff is that the police were told the SNP had spent donations they were given for a second referendum on day-to-day party maintenance. I’m not even sure that is a crime. Now, look at what these clowns have done.

Starmer is obviously right to call Reform’s policy racist, but it does sort of make his desperate and prolonged flirting with their voters, who will of course interpret this as him calling them racists, immediately undoing any headway he might have been making with them, seem even more stupid.

Latest NAS discovery: putting the soft felty part of velcro strips on the inside of the drive trays has made a huge difference to the noise that comes out of it. Since doing all the setup and data transferring I’ve done that and moved it back into a living space, and you’d have no idea it was there!
