What are Republican programs?

To be fair, there are no flattering pictures of Donald Trump

Wtf? They're actually including the inclusion of a made-up fantasy in their political calculations?

Goblins and ghouls? I told you this was a Halloween book.

Still time to read your copy before the holiday! www.christianakins.com/grimportents

"Hello." It slowly turned its head to face me.
"Who have we here?"
"What? You don't recognize me? I'm the guy
who loaned you the tux."
Its smile stretched even longer. "Well, well.
Bill Baker, I presume. That's a fine new meat suit. It does you justice. Pudgy and worn down-perfect for a man as insignificant as you. My thanks for your spare. I've poked around your memories and I think I've made a greater impact with your body in one day than you have in your entire life."
My ears flushed and I tightened my fists. It knew exactly how to push my buttons, but I needed to maintain my cool for a minute longer. Behind the demon, I watched Grace carefully usher her mother, on hands and knees, out the open door. I let out a fake laugh. "You think so? Because from what I've heard, you spent most of your time in a jail cell. Big bad demon subdued by a bunch of human cops.
What'll all the other goblins and ghouls say?"
It dropped its smile, taking a step towards me
as Grace and her mother finally crawled out of sight. Grim Portents banner featuring a skeleton hand holding a feather and emerging from an open book. The title is on a burning banner that envelops the feather and a large beast looms over it all. At the top, the tagline reads: Welcome to the first day of the end of your life…

I generally just go with a pacing method rather than core structure. Set-up > spike > repeat with the set-up also having downtime/breathing room and character interactions to develop b-plots. Most of it is building slowly toward a bigger stakes final climax. I'm also a big fan of denouement.

So #WritingCommunity how do we feel about structure?

Do you use the 3 act structure? The 5 act?

Hero's Journey? Save the Cat? Super Structure Method? Story Genius Method?

Something else?

What have you got?

#WIPSnips "Push" from Fight or Flight

Previously unseen scene! AL goes in to help Sam, who has gotten caught while clearing out a clog in the large pipe that feeds air, coal, and glittercoal to the ship's alchemical engine.

AL doesn't know how alchemy works, but knows heat and its dangers…
Ebook screenshot from Fight or Flight:
"The pipe swelled there, getting rounder - it belled out almost like a boiler itself. Mixing chamber, they said, something like that; it was supposed to let the glittercoal and coal mix with the hot air before it went into the engine. I didn’t know how it all worked, but that’s where I found Sam.

He was faced toward me, struggling with something at his back - he reached out to push off of the wall but his hand recoiled from the hot metal, the air that swept past us shimmering with heat. Spots of the walls here - and the pipes further ahead after the junction, especially - glowed faintly with intense heat, not fully red but just a faintly orange glow from within.

  We had to get out.

“Sam!” I shouted as loud as I could, but even the distance from my mouth to my own ears was too great - I could feel my shout in my throat, but couldn’t hear it. The roar of the air and engine was too loud."

A car swings slowly onto the road to my right, headlights shining impotently. The engine sounds sick, like it’s having a hard time propelling the frame through the moist air. The good news is it might be her. The bad news is I may be pushing this car before the night’s over. #WIPSnips

It's impossible to believe that China thinks Trump has dementia and none of his stooges will do a damn thing about so they're going to take advantage of America's weakness. Who could believe such a thing? It's almost like Trump is turning the US into a third world shithole.

Sure, it's easy to blame the manager or the head coach when a team doesn't meet expectations. It's such a lazy take.

But, as has been the case for years now, it's entirely justified.

Bottom line. He, himself, costs them games. Fire his ass.
