I appreciate it when non-vegans make the effort to offer something vegan! Or when restaurants include a few vegan options on their menus. However, I do have one request: talk to a vegan beforehand, please. Salad and vegetables are great,but there are also vegan meals that are a bit more substantial.

A trombone is a great choice too. As a teacher said, the first note you'll play is the hardest (but far from impossible, as long as you pick up a trombone!). I was in my late 60's!

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.
Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.
It's literally never been more important.

Calling my wife "my wife" makes them the happiest person in the world, so I do it even if they can't hear me and don't know. I love them so much it makes me happy when I say it to.
my boyfriend started calling me his boyfriend at work and it kind of feels like someone lifted an enormous boulder off my entire body and i can suddenly move. coming out as trans and living it is an extremely intense experience and there's a lot of pain and also so much joy it almost hurts too
