The cruelty is the point and they don't take a break from it even during Thanksgiving and the holidays.
I feel much safer today knowing that we deported a Babson College student back to a country where she hasn't lived since childhood.

While other nations continue to ban these types of pesticides, the US is moving backwards - there should be nationwide protests over this.

While other nations continue to ban these types of pesticides, the US is moving backwards - there should be nationwide protests over this.

There are moments when it feels like the nation gave up after the 2024 election, but we urgently need to turn things around next year and '28. The complete deregulation taking place at the EPA allowing for the use of PFAs pesticides on food is yet another wake up call for the nation.

With the Northwestern deal, the ongoing assault on higher education continues unabated. Our system is currently paralyzed in its inability to stop it, and failure to reverse it in the next 2-3 years will have devastating long-term impacts on our economic competitiveness and the future of democracy.

From the MN Society for Professional Journalists: St. Paul police shot three photojournalists (MPR, Reuters, Sahan Journal) with "less lethal" munitions during an ICE operation yesterday. One had to go to the hospital. They say they were specifically targeted by St. Paul police.
