Today is my last day of radiation! 💖
I'm still struggling w/ bills.
Just received my bill from surgery w/ uncovered costs.
$1500 of an over $35k outpatient surgery.
I'm at over $3k uncovered costs and my insurance bill of $555 is still not paid.

So this Dr has a habit of being severely late to see her patients.
Same woman that made me miss a crucial appt with my nephrologist before my surgery.
I was told to be here by 12:45 for my 1pm.
It's about 1:20 now.
Any bets on how long she takes this time?
Last time was over an hour!

Today I'm going to be prescribed a year regimen of an anti-cancer drug.
Side effects include blood clots.
No sitting for more than 1.5hrs at a time.
Pile on those side effects!
My immunosuppressants cause cancer & other issues. My cancer drugs cause circulatory issues & radiation has me beat.

I love my clinicians here at my oncology center but advertisements for drugs in patient rooms is outrageous!

Oh so relatable. I'm having my 2nd to last radiation therapy treatment in a few minutes.
I'm exhausted. The deep fatigue that radiation brings is special.
I've had stage 4 kidney failure fatigue but this cancer treatment fatigue is definitely different.

They deserve to have whatever social life possible for them.
They deserve to have holidays if able.

Follow up with the plastic surgeon. My left side has a wound that isn't healing as fast as I'd like.
This is an hour drive away from home in Orlando. I have to drive I-4 to get here. What a freaking nightmare!

My rad oncologist said Aquaphor only for now.
Eventually I'll be using some Scar away which is great to get those red scars to turn more flesh toned quickly.

My employer is giving us a bank holiday Monday. I'm gonna sleep so much! 😁
