Co-credited with the creation of the Harvard Classification Scheme that organizes/classifies stars by their temperature & spectral type. She classified >300,000 stars & her system is still used today.

An Aberaeron man fraudulently applied for the passport of someone who was dead, a court has heard. A judge said he was “sceptical” about the explanation given by the defendant which involved his mother and a man from Ghana living in the US.
